Anyone who lives in or has visited Helsinki, just wanted to know what it was like there. Is it a nice place to visit/live? Is it very expensive? How are the people there? Do a lot of people speak english there?

Helsinki is a very nice city with a high standard of living. Many people speak English there but not everybody does. Finnish is unlike just about any other language (outside of Estonian and Hungarian) and you will need to learn it if you want to live there. It is also at a very high latitude so there is not much sun for a good portion of the year. Consequently there is a very high suicide rate.
