Those who either live in Finland or are familiar with Finland: What is the name of this candy

Those who either live in Finland or are familiar with Finland: What is the name of this candy?
My parents took me to Finland when I was 10 years old because my Dad's workplace was doing some project with Nokia. Anyways, while we were there, we bought this candy that were these little round chocolate circles. It was the best candy in the entire world. Somebody over there told my mom that the English translation of the name of the candy was "Grandpa's Buttons". Looking back, they did sort of look like little buttons. If it helps, the box I think had an old man on the front, or was it a little boy? I haven't actually seen that box for years so I'm not really sure. But if anyone could tell me the name of the chocolate, I would appreciate it. Also, if you could tell me where to get it (besides Finland, since I'm not going there anytime soon), I would appreciate that too. I live in America, by the way, but I don't expect to find it over here.

I think you are looking for suklaa nappeja (chocolate buttons) by the Finnish company Dammenberg. http://www.dammenberg.fi/index.php?pageid=products&group=1 The boxes have changed (they used to have a little boy on them), but it's still the same candy. The box used to look like this: http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c361/rjg42/SuklaaNappeja.jpg Unfortunately, I don't know many places to get them outside Finland/Sweden. There are online shops in the UK that sell them, but most don't seem to ship to the US. This one has only a few flavors, but they say they ship worldwide: http://www.muchococoachocolates.co.uk/results.php?producer=45 This is the official UK retailer for Dammenberg. They don't mention shipping outside the UK, but you could always email them and ask: http://s230645196.e-shop.info/shop/page/about?shop_param= Then there is the Dammenberg online shop (only in Finnish, but there is an email at the bottom you could use to contact them and ask where you might find it in the US): http://www.dammenberg.fi/shop/index.php Even better than the buttons (in my opinion) are their Arctic Berries: http://www.dammenberg.fi/index.php?pageid=products&group=3 This UK company sells the, but they don't say if they ship to the US.. I'm guessing if you email her, she might: http://www.glutenfreefromfinland.com/sweets.html

I know what you mean, and I totally agree with you, they are probably the best candy in the world :). Those candies are quite rare, and only sold by pupils trying to make money for their class trip. They sell those from door to door. You probably mean one of these. http://www.kakkutukku.fi/aidin.php http://www.kakkutukku.fi/isoisa.php http://www.kakkutukku.fi/punssi.php I don't think they sell these boxes to individuals, if they're not willing to buy _a lot_.
