i want to meet some friends who live in finland, im 14 and want to go on my own. i need quite a lot of money to get there but my main worry is convincing my mum to let me go, any ways to soften her up and allow me to go?

well i dont think there is much you can do. maybe you could gradually show her that you are responsible. gather information about the town/ city you will be in. make an rough list of how much your trip will cost overall and then present it to your mom. also try to earn your own money instead of just asking your parents for it that will show them that you are serious about going. find a job or hold some fundraisers. I hope you get to go Finland is a beautiful country!!!! be sure to visit Helsinki.:)
