I have lived in Finland most of my life recently moved to Long Beach, California and loving it here. So I am wondering why im not able to go on the internet without seeing a bunch of hate against the United States.

There are a variety of reasons but economic disparity is one of the main ones. Also the U.S. has been playing bully ever since WWII (Korea, Vietnam, Iraq--the sequel, etc.). In addition American companies have exploited third world countries for their resources.

It's just a very vocal minority dedicated on making it seem like the whole world hates us. I know it's not true and that many countries like us. Sure, many of us are arrogant just like certain people in other countries; but there are many of us that respect other countries too. Eh, can't make friends with everybody...

Jealousy and ignorance. Most of them have never been here, so all they know is what they see on TV and the internet. Honestly, most Americans don't know where Finland is or what countries border it... and if they do, they think it's always covered in snow. So, they're no different.
