Would a person moving to Finland, be able to attend a Finnish college with an American education

Would a person moving to Finland, be able to attend a Finnish college with an American education?
After I graduate from high school, I plan to live with family in Finland. But, I've heard that I may not be able to attend college there, because my American education may not meet curtain requirements set by the Finnish school system. Can anyone elaborate on this? Thanks.

Your best bet is to get in touch with the school over there that you wish to attend and ask them, they should have some kind of e-mail address that you can use. You could try googling them on Go ogle and find a link to them, sounds like the best way to find out what they require from you in order to attend the school. You could also try asking your school councilor about it also, I'm sure they would be more than willing to help you before you leave for Finland. You could also ask the family your going to be staying with to find out for you too.

The criteria indeed vary from place to place, so you'd better check it from the school. Please note that not all universities offer lectures in English, so you might have to learn some basic Finnish first.
