than they do here in America. As this century goes on and socialist nations continue to surpass capitalist countries, the tyrannical oppression imposed by the wealthy ruling class will fall to the wayside. How long do you think capitalism really has left? It will not be around by the end of the century, but do you think it will even make it 20 more years. Everyday America becomes more and more socialist, it is the wave of the future and it cannot be stopped. So how long before America is socialist?

Finland.....they live better, longer lives until a bigger country comes and overtakes them (They lived in fear of Russia for years). They may also live longer because any country who is in military trouble calls the US, and not Finland.....they havn't fought a war in years.

Socialism will not take over the USA. Next time you go on vacation why don't you just stay in your socialist utopia.

If you went on a Ski Vacation in Finland then I am guessing that you are probably one of those in the wealthy ruling class and have absolutely no f***ing CLUE what Capitalism does for poor slobs such as myself and my own poor roots. My husband and I are both 3rd generation Americans and believe me when I tell you that our ancestors came to America with a couple of pennies, a dream, and determination. The dream is that through hard work and determination, smart choices, and a little bit of luck you can bring yourself up out of poverty and reach middle class status. Some people are even fortunate and intelligent enough to make it up to the rich class... look at Bill Gates! could Bill Gates have become Bill Gates in a socialist country where government runs everything and everyone has to work for the state and get paid your state mandated amount of money? All innovation, all capital, everything is owned by the state. Ummmm... yeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.... Nope. The problem with socialism is that it is accepting the premise that wealth and success is only for a chosen few who are there by birth. Maybe YOU are rich because your mommy and daddy gave you everything you have and you have come from generational wealth so you never saw anyone in your own lineage make something from nothing but trust me when I tell you that I couldn't be prouder of my family. My husband and I have a wonderful life thanks to hard work of his father and rather than feel bitter and think that it was unfair I am thankful for it and I hope to help give my own kids a boost. Instead, you are advocating for a system that will keep YOU rich (you selfish a**hole) but will prevent MY CHILDREN from becoming rich. You know what? F*** you! Move to Finland and leave my kids alone. Keep your claws out of MY kid's birthright, Ok a**hole? God damn I hate trust fund kids. A rising tide raises all boats. JFK.

Finland also has an excellent public education system that educators from all around the world are studying to try to emulate. Finland devotes a great deal of its monetary resources to social programs but when we try to do anything similar here, the conservatives yell and scream and cry bloody murder. I don't think it is a matter of capitalism versus socialism because Finland is actually basically a capitalist country. It is rather the undue influence of outdated conservative ideology on American political thinking that is hampering our country's progress.

Finland is not Socialist. It just has more and better social welfare programs. Not at all Socialist.
