How to join French Foreign Legion

How to join French Foreign Legion?
I need very detailed information. What is the wisest way to get to the information office (any visas or supplies needed)? What are the physical demands? How to prepare? etc... I may have Tourette syndrome. Will that be a problem? My age is 17 and I live in Finland.

The French Foreign Legion does not actively recruit in foreign countries. Go down to Marseilles where the Legion has a headquarters, and sign up for five years of trouble!

The FFL do not recruit in foreign countrys, but you can go to a French embessy in Finland and they can give you info i think. The FFL is not a just walk in and sign a five year contract and thats it, there are limited spaces, the legion has 7699 soldiers . there is a selection process, physical, logical, health medical and mental health tests there is an interview to go through and just tell them the truth and they will want your motivation for wanting to become a legionnaire, and if they dont like you in the interview if they dont think your right for the job they wont take you, after that you will be brought to the headquarters for 4 weeks of physical training i think, and if you cant run for a good while and i mean to the point were you legs are killing with pain from my own research i dont think your in. but they may invite you back again in another 6 months. check out the legion website legion-recruit.com. you should read a book about the legion, for your terets you can email the legion and ask them about that, you can contact them from there website, and the spanish foreign legion dont take foreigners any more. ok bud
